Hoping you all had a merry Christmas! I took some time off to spend time with family (and of course my dog) and am feeling that post-holiday lull. I wanted to share some moments from both Christmas eve and Christmas day with you, since these outfits did not make it to social media on their wear days. Hello! It's been a minute since I've had time to post a blog for y'all. My apologies about that, but unfortunately I have been stuck in finals for a few weeks now. I am glad I got to take a break to shoot this look and enjoy some candy canes. Picking out gifts is not always an easy task. I'm here to help by offering up some of my personal favorites of the season! This list can help you find gifts to give friends or family or even add to you own wish list. As a note, this guide is much easier to view on a laptop than on a mobile device due to the collage structure.

One thing I have always missed while living at school is the ability to have a Christmas tree. If you follow me on social media (@scarletthuck) you may have seen the mini tree Leon and I decorate every year. While it is an okay substitute, it is far from the real thing (Although if this is your only option here is a great tip we discovered this year: get a reed diffuser that smells like pine and place it near your fake tree. It really helps it feel more real! I will link a good oil below). That being said, I made sure to find some time to make it to a real Christmas tree farm and get my fix until I am home for the holidays. I visited Pleasant Street Christmas Tree Farm and helped my family pick out two smaller trees for outdoor decoration. I really embraced the Christmas season with this red sweater, paired with my new favorite faux fur accessories. I mean how cute is this earmuff and collar combo?! Plus, if you look closely, they have blackwatch plaid details, making them the ultimate holiday adornment.

Hoping you all had a relaxing weekend filled with family and yummy food! I am  back at school, so my break is officially over. However, I am reflecting on my holiday and thinking about how thankful I am to have a supportive family, friends who I adore and a boyfriend who I love sharing my life with. And my dog, I am very thankful for my dog. I got a lot of questions about my outfit on Thanksgiving so I wanted to give you a quick share. These pants were so fun and a huge hit.
