Hi friends! So sorry for the delay, I've been super busy with work and life. But I couldn't resist the chance to share this amazing opportunity with y'all. I recently attended Cocktails with the Whales, an event held at Mystic Aquarium. I grew up attending this aquarium and really respect its dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating sea life. They've started introducing fun after hours events like this one. The whales are super playful, they pose and splash around. They're also offering Prosecco with Penguins, Belugas and Burgers and Pancakes with Penguins. You can find the events they have lined up for the rest of the summer here. I opted for a nautical look with this extremely comfortable t-shirt dress, which I can't recommend enough!

A Day on the Vineyard

A Day on the Vineyard       

Okay, I'll admit it. 22 years as a New Englander and not once have I visited Martha's Vineyard. So this summer I decided to change that. My family and I picked up and hopped on the ferry for a day of fun. We didn't go in with much of a plan, I wanted to see the gingerbreads and my parents wanted to head to Edgartown. So we did exactly that in that order. We wandered around the Oak Bluff's campground where pastel cottages can be found everywhere before heading over to Lookout Tavern for the island's best lobster rolls. After lunch we caught the bus over to Edgartown where we shopped, wandered and drank. I loved the sophisticated style of Edgartown, I could have looked at the houses all day. We finished our day up by eating dinner at Sharky's Cantina with some delicious margaritas and delectable food.

Rosecliff

Rosecliff      

I recently visited one of the Newport mansions, Rosecliff. While I have spent plenty of time in Newport and around the mansions, this was my first visit inside of one. They frequently hold events throughout the summer, so keep an eye out for fun occasions! On this particular day, Rosecliff was holding a flower show. Different vendors displayed their gardens as you wandered through the flowers and pop-up boutiques. Most people are dressed up for these events, some even look like they're off to the races in their intricate sun hats. I opted for my Gal Meets Glam dress, it is so effortlessly chic. Paired with a pair of linen wedges and elegant drop earrings, I fit right in among the event-goers. I'll link all my outfit details below!
