Sunflower Season
Nothing says summer quite like a field full of sunshine in the form of sunflowers. Dame Farm and Orchards in Johnston Rhode Island is a must see every year for me. The place is a wholesome, instant dose of happiness. You can pick your own sunflowers, zinnias and blueberries! Plus they have a fresh farm stand for other goodies. It costs $5 to enter the field and an additional $1.75 per stem. That's the cheapest price you'll ever find for entry to a little slice of heaven! My only recommendation is following the farm on Facebook. Sunflower season is short and unpredictable, you wont want to miss any updates!
