The boyfriend and I headed up to Maine for our first vacation week. We've spent our week relaxing, snowmobiling, skiing, cooking and spending time with the family. Today was particularly warm for up north so we took advantage of the weather to explore some of the beautiful scenery that surround our Maine house. The temp was perfect for a light button down and layering sweater (my personal favorite is J.Crew's Holly sweater - so many color options and not too thick!).

Just when we thought things were warming up again, winter weather strikes back! I'm not complaining, I appreciate any rationale for extending the plaid skirt season. Early in the day called for bundled up layers and my warmest snow boots. Thankfully, the snow let up later on just long enough to enjoy the fresh blanket of snow without looking like a walking marshmallow.
