The Perfect Summer Shoes

The Perfect Summer Shoes
Hi y'all! It's been a second (I say that every time) but I've got some big stuff going on in my life right now. If you're missing my more frequent content, make sure you're following along on my Instagram and Facebook pages - they see a lot more action!

I am excited that spring is attempting to, well, spring. We took advantage of the warm weather for a Mother's Day weekend picnic. My family headed off to the Temple of Music (featured in a handful of my blog posts because it's perfect and you should absolutely go). I am big into jumpsuits this season so as soon as it was warm enough I threw one on. I got this particular one at Marshalls for super cheap! I'm linking as many similar options as I can below.

Now to the best part - THE SHOES. Okay so full disclosure I have loved these heels for a while so I was absolutely thrilled when Jack Rogers approached me asking me to be a brand rep. This means that I will have the ability to offer special discounts and giveaways to my followers in the future! And yes, of course if you purchase any Jack Rogers products through me I do make a small commission. Back to the good stuff - these shoes are the perfect summer shoe. They are neutral, they are cute, they can be dressy or casual and they are comfortable! I thought the heel would be higher and was very pleasantly surprised when they arrived. I promise you, you will not regret buying them because you will never take them off.

Celebrating Spring

Celebrating Spring
Spring has sprung! Kind of! If you're in New England like me, you know temps are rising but they're not necessarily warm yet. But the promise of warmer seasons does make you want to change your wardrobe over to lighter clothes and brighter colors. Luckily, I've figured out a good uniform for putting out springtime vibes while still managing to stay warm enough. I present to you: a jumpsuit and a cardigan.  The jumpsuit itself is perfect for looking springy while keeping warm ; jumpsuits that are coming out now will be  lighter materials or fun patterns. The long pants keep you covered and a simple layered cardigan keeps you cozy on top while still not giving off winter vibes. I paired my outfit with a fair of wedge espadrilles for an extra dose of springtime celebration.

The End of Winter

The End of Winter
Honestly - and I feel like I never say this - but it feels like winter flew by! Today marks the first day of Spring and therefore also marks my final wintery blog post. Time to make our way towards transitional pieces and pops of color! Much like my last outfit, I am giving you a way to dress up even if the temps don't quite reflect springtime weather yet. Tights are your best friend - layer them with a cute skirt and a lighter sweater. It will keep you warm while also looking cute. If temps are still dropping, toss on a pom pom hat. If not - stock up now while they are on sale! All your favorite winter accessories will be going on sale in the coming weeks. Buy things and put them away, you'll thank yourself next winter!
