Family on Nantucket
Nantucket is a slice of heaven on Earth. If you haven't been, you're missing out. If you have been, go back because it's just that good. This was Jake's (and Corona's!) first trip to the island and I'm so glad they loved it as much as I do. While cruising down the quiet, picturesque roads I mentioned to Jake how Nantucket reminded me of Disney - everything themed to match the surrounding aesthetic. I think the cohesiveness of the island's style is one of my favorite things. It's not often that you travel somewhere and everything is perfect from the storefronts to the lamp posts, but Nantucket is that place.
We hopped on the morning ferry and landed at 11 am. With no set plan, we rented a car and wandered around the island checking out some of its more iconic landmarks. We took Corona to the dog friendly Cisco Brewers, let him run down the bluff walk and watched him swim in the water near Brant Point Light. Our day was idyllic and fun, we can't wait to go back.
