Sleepy Hollow 2018
While Halloween may be over, I am not quite ready to let go of fall. One of my favorite autumnal activities is heading to Sleepy Hollow, New York. In this quiet town, Halloween comes to life. If visiting this quaint town sounds intriguing to you, make sure you buy tickets well in advance. This year, tickets for plays, events and haunted happenings sold out by labor day weekend.
On the first day I opted for a light, casual sweater and dressed the outfit up with some over-the-knee boots (these ones were a steal!). OTK boots are the perfect cold weather accessory for elevating your look. A sizing note: I opted for an XXS in the Madewell wrap sweater. I typically wear a small or sometimes an extra-small, but the cut of this top felt more comfortable in a smaller size. The second day was a little colder so I layered up a chunky knit with a classic coat and scarf. I picked up this sweater at Marshalls, but linked a similar one below!
