On Mach 17th, 2017 I made an announcement that has since changed a lot of things in my life. I officially publicized my blog, something I had been hard at work on for months beforehand. I taught myself the basics of coding, editing and website design. I prepared for rejection, worried that people might not care what I had to say or what I wore. I felt nervous that people might make fun of me for pursuing my idea. I decided to give it a go regardless, with support from my boyfriend (who might I add has become a phenomenal photographer over the past year) and my family.
Today, exactly one year later, I am happy to say I am so thrilled with my decision. It is nice to know people are interested in something that I have created. In just 365 days you guys have visited my site over 10,000 times, a number that is just staggering to me. I want you all to know how much your enthusiasm means to me. I put a lot of time and effort into planning and executing posts to ensure that you have enjoyable, relatable and affordable content. In the next year I hope to expand on that even more with your help. I am always here to respond to your questions and hear your suggestions. If you have anything that you'd like to see on the blog this coming year, feel free to comment below, send me and e-mail or contact me on social media!
Thank you so incredibly much for coming on this journey with me.
I would not be here without you. I am so excited for what the future may hold.
Finally getting another post in from my first spring break (which is crazy because my next spring break is only three weeks away)! On our way home from Maine, we made a pit stop in one of my dream destinations, Kennebunkport. This is the coastal Maine town that litters Town and Country instagrams. It is sprinkled with adorable shops, matching decorations for every holiday (currently it's still in Valentine's Day attire), and quirky signs pointing you towards the beach. Our visit was a quick one, but I already can't wait to go back and explore more! Clothing details below!
Last week we shipped up to Maine for our last ever February break of college. We spent the week hanging with family, eating yummy food and squeezing in the last of our favorite winter activities. We hiked, we shopped, and I even taught Leon how to ski. On one of our last days we headed over to New Hampshire for a fun-filled family day. We went to Alpine Adventures, a super cool spot in Lincoln that offers all types of excitement. I've been here a few times to zipline between mountains, climb into treehouses and tube into giant airbags. It's never a dull time. On this particular day, we were headed off on a mountain excursion. This trip will drive you up the mountain in a crazy six-wheeled all-terrain military vehicle. It's a bumpy ride, but it's so much fun and the view from the top is incredible. After we peaked at the mountain, we headed over the well-known ice castles. We've done these before, and weren't quite as impressed this year. It is constantly growing in popularity so expect long lines and big crowds. If you can, try to reserve an entrance time at night so you can see the castle light up, that is by far the most spectacular part.
